Your correct Daybreak has allot on their hands right now. Their recent game Landmark has gone into turmoil, along with their failure in creating Ever quest next being cancelled. I don't under stand who made the decision to stop FR when they had millions of players both on FR and Star wars Adventures. I remember them stating that players were moving on from the child games, but they were right. I can recall hearing that only 2 million out of 20 million were active? (I'd dearly like to link a reference source, though I have to go soon) But it's like that for nearly every game.

But even if that was the case 2 million people purchasing Memberships & SC ranging from 5$ to 100$ each and every day is still allot, so I doubt the game ended because of an economic problem. (Unless they were paying their employees way to much XD).

When you lose a lot of players, it's not going to be great having 10% of what you originally had. That's a lot less profit when you put it to terms. Because they closed down all of their child's games, I suppose they're aiming for a much more mature demographic. If there's perverts running around on a child's game, the game is no longer a bright and happy place. If there's perverts running around on a teen or 17+ game, it's not much of a deal.

I just want to say that I at least had made like 30 accounts at least. get 2 million people with 30 accounts each and yeah you sure would get 20 million players.

From what little I know (via rumors) they closed those 3 games to make room for Everquest Next, Landmark. But to their dismay, both of those are going down the drain. Looks like they lost more money than they'd bargained for.

I have hope. I believe that one day, we can get back to out beloved Free Realms. But, until that happens, we can't let our community break apart. We may not see even the Beta Free Realms until 2017, but I don't care. It's better than never seeing it again. I don't care if I don't get my old character back. If this was or wasn't happening, we wouldn't get it back. Don't act like right now is better. I may have too much hope, but its better than too little. I wasn't there the last few months of Free Realms, and I regret not being there. I didn't know it was happening, and I miss it so much. I don't care how long it takes, just give it back. Heck, just post the character creator, I remember it was fun creating characters. Sadly, we don't have any volunteers besides a few developers. We should try to help instead of complaining. Whether you're good at coding, deciphering, or just spreading the word to help, to get developers, every bit counts. Every last speck. Don't act helpless until you've done the job yourself and decided that its helpless. Don't get mad at the developers until you've done their work. Don't give up hope until every last person quits. Never give up hope. I think that many people would be willing to help us, but no one knows our community exists. We need to spread the word. Don't say its coming back, we don't know. It won't magically come back by telling it to enough people. We need hard workers. People who are willing to spend their free time coding, or battling Sony for the rights for Free Realms. I trust our community, I trust that we can do it.
We can try.

Even if, by some minute chance, FreeRealms or some derivative of it is revived/formed, I'm 90% certain that I'll be in grad school, employed, possibly married with children, and will have long forgotten about FreeRealms by the time that occurs. The game shut down when I was 15. I'll be turning 18 just over a week from now. I have athletic and academic commitments that don't give me much time to dwell on a long-deceased MMO. Not to say that it's a sin to think about it, but I've got a life that requires more attention.
Frankly, the reason I joined this community is to meet up with friends from the MMO, both old and new, and discuss and have fun. I don't believe FreeRealms itself has done as much to bring us together as the community has. That stated, I can live without it as long as folks like you are still around to maintain good vibes.
To answer this forum's question, my faith in the MMO's restoration is minimal at best. The project managers self-admittedly declared FreeRealms secondary in respect to FusionFall, and halted the project for its sake. I don't believe they're in much of a hurry to finish the project. I understand the amount of time and effort it takes to rebuild an MMO of FreeRealms's caliber, but hopes are much too high to still be stuck in the same spot after so much time.
To my fellow members of the community, my recommendation to you is that you take time to wholeheartedly understand that (1) the project managers are people also, and they are undermanned and likely overworked, tackling a monster of a project that would typically be a job for a company of professional developers. (2) Hoping in FreeRealms's revival and sincerely believing in it to the point of fanaticism are two different things. There is no guarantee that it will come back. None. No matter what you read online or saw on YouTube, the fact remains that FreeRealms is not here right now. Will it ever? Good question. Guess we'll have to live our lives for now, and just wait and see.

Theoretically there still is a chance from 2017 onwards. But a dedicated and able crw is needed to put the game back together. And money! Crowd funding will be necessary. Even gamers and developers have to pay their rent etc...

What with the developers saying that it's extremely complicated and may not even work, you don't want to put hope onto this project. Don't get me wrong, it'd be neat to see a revival but there's always a chance that it's not meant to be.

I have all the hope in the world. Even if this project doesn't work out, I will still have hope we will get our game back somehow.

I still believe freerealms will rise again. I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but my hopes have always been around since the day freerealms ended.
