(Picture, and my reference for it). I drew my husband Scorpio from Star Crossed Myth. You're probably wondering, "Did she really say her husband?".
Yes, I did.
Scorpio is one of my favorite characters in the visual novel, along with Dui, Ichthys, and Zyglavis.
I am a complete amateur, and I have not been improving since I do not practice everyday. I wish I could learn more tips on traditional art so that I can do fanart for these visual novels.

Huedhaut huh? Another lovey god, but I would work on the gods from the Department of Punishments first.
Scorpio, Dui, Ichthys, Zyglavis, Partheno, Krioff, and Altair.

Alright, first thing you'll want to do is look at references when you draw (Specifically RL human pictures, not ones from anime- BUT art refs help as well.). References are a MUST for beginning artists. References for anatomy, facial structure, emotions, etc. are all things that help you draw what you visualize in your head. Observing people from real life (like at a coffee shop) and drawing them helps you draw what you see. And once you know how to better draw what you see, it'll be much easier to draw what you can't see- the stuff that's in your head. Also learning the 8 head model will definitely help. --- And now onto the drawing part! Starting off with a light base sketch is really good. Then using refs of the character you want drawn and using RL human/animal/etc. pictures, you'll be able to get a little picture of where to draw the eyes, nose, mouth, proportions in general. mmmmm not really sure what else to say, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask away (:

Huedgaut huh? Another lovey god, but I would work on the gods from the Department of Punishments first.
Scorpio, Dui, Ichthys, Zyglavis, Partheno, Krioff, and Altair. You're welcome! I would love to draw Scorpio or Dui for you if I had both the time and the drawing skills. Unfortunately, I am not very good at drawing males yet, but I will keep practicing until I get better!

I really like the artwork, wish I could do art orientated things.I turn green with envy upon seeing art. How long did the drawing take to complete?
